Pilot crashes shortly after take off at Coeur d'Alene Airport
COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho (KBOI) — A 61-year-old pilot suffered minor injuries after crashing at the Coeur d'Alene Airport Monday.
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says pilot Frank G. Gordon of Coeur d'Alene's plane crashed shortly after take off for unknown reasons. The single engine aircraft came to a rest along a taxiway within the airport's property along Ramsey Road.
Gordon suffered minor injuries and was taken to Kootenai Health for treatment.
The National Transportation Board is investigating the crash.
